October Half Term Fun at The Household Cavalry Museum
Come and enjoy a whole range of activities for all the family from Monday 24 October to Saturday 29 October 2011.
Craft Activities
A wide range of craft activities will be available which are suitable for children aged 5-11 years and for all abilities.
Each activity has a connection to the Household Cavalry and its history. Come and make something to take home and learn more about the horses and troopers from the Regiment.
Starts at 11.30am for approx 45 mins. Children free with fee paying adult. A small charge will be made for materials. Booking recommended.
Detective trail
Taking place all week around the museum. Can you find the hidden clues buried amongst the exhibits? Certificates will be awarded to all those who successfully complete the trail.
Storytelling
On Tuesday 25 October at 2.15pm suitable for 3-8 years. Come and listen to the fascinating story of Paddy the milk horse.

Children's Christmas Craft Weekend
Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 November 2011 at 11.15am and 2.15pm
Get ready for Christmas and have fun making your own cards, advent calendars, decorations, gift wrapping and other homemade gifts for your loved ones. Everything has a Household Cavalry theme and during the weekend you can have a go at candle making, clay modeling and sewing.
Suitable for 5-11 year-olds. Children free with fee paying adult although a small charge will be made for materials. Pre booking essential.
